Doyle Wayne Decker, 63 of Mossville, IL passed away at 5:12pm on Friday, March 5, 2010 at his residence.
Born May 8, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Noland "Pete" Decker and Edna (Miller) Decker. He married Karen Quinones on January 29, 2000.
Surviving are his wife; Karen Decker of Mossville, mother; Edna Decker of Arnold, MO, 1 son; Charlie (Kate) Decker of Tucson, AZ, and 2 brothers; Gary (Diane) Decker of Arnold, MO and Steven of St. Clair, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister.
Doyle was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army.
He worked for Ford Corporation for 15 years.
He was a member of Rome Baptist Church.
He and his wife enjoyed fishing and were members of Fishin Pals.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held 6:30pm Thursday, March 11 at Rome Baptist Church 5104 East Stevenson Avenue Chillicothe, IL 61523-9303. with visitation starting at 5:00pm until the time of the service. The Dr. Lloyd Moss will officiate. Inurnment will be held in Broseley, MO at a later date. Memorials may be made to his church.
